On January 18th, the Innovation Industry Chain Cooperation Promotion Conference 2024 was held in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei Province. At the conference, Yu Guoyi, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Xiong'an New Area in Hebei Province, stated that Xiong'an New Area has always adhered to the synchronous planning and construction of digital cities and physical cities, with the construction of underground, above ground, and cloud growing together. Xiong’an New Area has become the first city in China to achieve synchronous construction of digital and physical cities across the entire region.

Xiong’an New Area has entered a stage of large-scale construction and undertaking non-capital functions in Beijing, with a focus on high-quality construction, high-level management, and high-quality development. In terms of digital construction, 5G has achieved deep and continuous coverage, and the key indicators of "gigabit cities" are among the top in China. The first city blockchain underlying platform in China has been built. The construction of urban computing centers and the integration of edge cloud collaboration and cloud network computing infrastructure have been put into use. The construction of over 500 kilometers of digital roads have been initiated, with over 200 kilometers already in operation.

In terms of developing communication, software, and information technology service industries in Xiong’an New Area, Yu Guoyi stated that in the past six years, China Mobile has actively promoted the construction of Xiong’an New Area in high-end industries such as 5G technology and application development, digital cities. Xiong’an New Area will also rely on China Mobile's high-quality resources, fully leverage China Mobile's technology, funding, and industrial chain integration capabilities to empower regional economic development, plan and layout the innovation chain of the new area, and promote the implementation of more forward-looking innovation pilot demonstration projects.

The reporter learned that in supporting the construction of Xiong'an New Area, China Mobile has always strengthened organizational support, built high-level service support teams, actively set up new infrastructure bases, empowered cross-border platforms with digital intelligence, put forward the popularization of advanced information and communication technology applications, and continued to help Xiong'an New Area become an innovation highland and entrepreneurial hotspot in the new era.

This conference is guided by the Xiong’an New Area Management Committee and hosted by China Mobile. At the conference, activities such as the "Hebei Pioneer: Practicing the Responsibility of State owned Assets and Central Enterprises to Assist High Quality Development" initiative, the collection of innovative solutions for the "Creating and Gathering Xiong’an New Area" digital intelligence industry, and the video playback of "Hebei Pioneer: Implementing National Deployments and Explore the Integration and Development of Industrial Chains" were also held.
